Canton Illinois ALZ/Dementia Respite Care (No longer active)

This group is no longer active. I am posting this and will leave it up for a short time to inform those who may have been following this group:

• Everyone we discussed this with (the Alzheimer's support group, Doctors, nurses, clergy, caregivers, the public) said this service is needed.
• Everyone that had contact with this project (Caregivers, nurses, clergy, families, volunteers and of course me and the director😀) said we were doing a great job

Unfortunately, we could not get those that could use the service connected to it. We tried. but in the end, we just did not get enough users to keep it going.

"It is better to have tried and failed than to not have tried at all."
