Helping Husband & siblings care for elderly Mother in law in her home

Hello this is my first time using Alzconnected. I am looking to learn more about how to continue to assist in the caring for my elderly parent in laws, mother in law who has been diagnosed with dementia since 2019 & has existing health conditions. My husband & I live with them now and have experience in caring for the elderly with dementia and other serious health conditions. I have willingly offered and accepted the responsibility of helping my sister in law in caring for my mother in law when she could no longer do for herself until needed. Her end of life wishes include staying in her home.

Recently her temper is becoming much more than we can comfortably and safely handle on a daily bases'. Although i have personal experience in this i am finding myself becoming for anxious and can feel very aggravated, making it more difficult to be positive and not so helpful when others may be feeling the same. I can sense the pressure and tension within most of us as we are running out of ideas and energy

*I am looking for guidance with ideas or resources on how I can help the rest of her care team (their grown children) with how ease any emotional or mental impact that it has had on them as well as our individual families & daily obligations.

I feel everyone could benefit from a group meeting to discuss what choices they have as far as deciding if it is too dangerous for their mother to stay in her home as she requested before her condition worsened. what is available for her or their father.

*We all would like to know how to balance the care for both parents as they are both elderly and in need of assistance in their daily lives more now at this time.

*I would like to find a financially reasonable way to give their children time to spend together while their parents are being cared for even for a outing for the day or evening.
