Can anyone tell me how they are able to get their stubborn spouse to change their clothing after they have soiled them. This has been an issue for me in the past two weeks.

    My DH has suffered with psoriatic arthritis for more than 50 years. He's 74 now. He's been on a lot of medications over the years not just for the arthritis but also for other things like asthma, acid reflux, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc. etc. etc. Is there any evidence that alz would progress faster in a person with his conditions? I think he's at Stage 5 now (moderately severe).

    I am not at this point yet with my DW soiling her clothes but I can’t seem to get her to change her clothes or take a shower. If I’m lucky I can coax her into the shower with me washing her. When we get to the point of her being incontinent, I will try to get her to start using adult pull ups. Probably easier said than done. This way I can just cut them off. I’m transitioning her chose of clothes to loose fitting items like sweat pants or shorts to make it easier for me to help. I’m sure you will hear more here from folks that have actually went through it already.
