Hi Group,

I wanted to share this dementia staging tool I found that includes categories for language and behavior. For some reason I can't send the link, so I'm trying to attach the pdf to my message. Let me know if you can't access the document.

@GG06 - can you share the url or site name? This is the most relevant staging tool I've seen, but I'd like to look at the guidebook that's mentioned.

Super grateful for this. But it also broke my heart. Ralph falls in the severe category for most of the items and moderate for the remaining few. As you know, he's been progressing quickly. But I wasn't expecting severe. Maybe I should have been.

@Jeanne C. It's from the University of Washington. I tried to paste the url but it wouldn't work. It's https//files.alz.washington.edu/documentation/uds3-tfp-b4.pdf

Search NACC FTLD Module FTLD Module version 3 | National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center (naccdata.org)

There are several questionnaires, but I can't find a scoring guide.

It must be really hard realizing how far along Ralph is. My experience reading through the instrument was the opposite. Although it's clear Paul is continuing to decline, he is still in the questionable and mild categories with the exception of #9 behavior, comportment and personality. I'd say he is moderate for that one.
