Hello.
I am new here. I'm 43yo wife of 58yo old DH diagnosed with early onset of alzheimer.

About over a year I noticed some behavioral changes and he was becoming more forgetful and irritable. Prior that he was complaining about memory issues and struggled to keep jobs as a software engineer.

Back in November diagnose was confirmed on pat scan.

I work full time and I am taking more home chores and it’s already becoming exhausting.

Back home (in Europe) I have 73 yo father who has vascular dementia. He is at stage when he accusing family of stilling his clothes and it’s getting more difficult to deal with him.

I have been reading a book called the 36-hours day that has very helpful tips.

Hi there, I'm in a similar situation. I just turned 48, and my husband just turned 60. We are both still working. We began seeing a neurologist last fall after a visit with his primary physician, in which he mentioned trouble speaking and memory issues. She did a quick screening, and we started working with the neurologist about six weeks later. He just had a PET scan yesterday, so we are still waiting for those results, but my hunch — and his — is that it's likely younger onset Alz. He's still quite active and high functioning, but he struggles with finding words, and cannot keep track of much of anything without things like AirTags. I just keep waiting for things to get worse …

I started reading that book too. It's been so helpful.
