Medication tips/tricks

How do I convince my loved one with Dementia to take her medication? I've tried giving her liquid and pills crushed in her favorite snack along with me eating the same kind of snack with her and she refuses. I've tried creams/ointments...I've tried calm and relaxing environment..I've tried approaching later on...nothing is working and she has very aggressive behaviors that need to be controlled
