To start things off in the group!

I can't believe it’s been a month since my DH’s death. It’s so hard to say that word! I’ve lost track of days. I’m in a fog. I spent every day with him. Now, I’m all alone. It was only the two of us, no children, now what? It is a HUGE adjustment! I think I spent so much time caring, not wanting him to suffer, wanting his misery to end that I never thought about what life without him would be like. Well, here it is, smacking me right in the face! Something else for me to ‘adjust’ to! I cry SO MUCH! I wonder if I did enough, was it the right thing. Does everyone second guess themselves? Do we all have regrets? Do we all sometime feel they are still with us? Then, those ‘To the Estate Of …’ letters come so quickly. I’m just so tired ….. Is it just me?
