Caring for a spouse

My was diagnose with Early Onset Alzheimer 2 and half years ago. His disease has progress. He walks around the house appearing to me that he is bored. He tells me he is okay but I feel there should be something I should be doing.

if they tell you what they are looking for, you can come up with some kind of answer. In my case, my spouse was looking in every drawer in the house for his guns. I told him that there wasn’t any in the house and that he sold them a long time ago. Of course, when he was downstairs looking, I hurried upstairs to our bedroom and took his pistol & ammo out of his nightstand and hid them where I know he would never look. That would have been real scary if his found them .
