“Where’s My Daughter” moms confusion of who’s taking care of her

hi, new to this group but reading all sure helps. Need to have some suggestions how to answer my mom who insists she hasn’t seen or heard from her daughter (me) for some time. Cries because she thinks something happened to her daughter, asks why doesn’t she come home, why hasn’t she called etc…
I’m right in front of her but she doesn’t see me as her daughter. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
