How to cope with the Grief due to my Partner's Frontotemporal Dementia

I'm new to this group. I was hoping other Group members would share how they cope when a loved one no longer recognizes us? I find it terribly difficult. She is no longer with me but in a nursing home. I can become very lonely and not able to cope with our empty home. If you have any thoughts on how you cope due to your great loss, I would be grateful if you could post a sentence or two back. T
