My husband was diagnosed with VD. He is 61 had a massive stroke at the age of 47. I am not sure how to cope with this new way of life. He is basically living in a room with no interaction with his family. This is the beginning. How and I going to cope with this. I am so scared.

I FEEL THAT!! Hi! I'm Kendra I am 54yo My 59 yo fiance was diagnosed VD about 2 1/2 years ago and I (unfortunately) have some medical knowledge due to 12 family members in the medical field....I'm TERRIFIED watching this man I LOVE decline! I grieve the relationship I used to have with him.....we met 5 yrs ago became engaged after only 3 months he's my person....now this VD is literally slowly killing him.....I'm as you can imagine beyond stressed overwhelmed along with adapting from his fiance/lover to his caretaker....any support or advice is greatly appreciated!! THANK U0
