Mother's Day Blessing

I send up a blessing for all you mother's today. For your patience in raising your children, for your devotion in caring/advocating for your elders. The kids and the old folks may not see it, may not appreciate it, may not even like you right at the moment. But I see you, this forum sees you, and I want you to know you are celebrated for the amazing person you are - shiny sparkly, or frazzled and fried. :)

You are the foundation the rest of the world is built upon.

I am also spending my day with the best memories of these two mothers whom I love dearly and miss daily.

    Thank you Lickety! I didn’t realize you lost your MotherMinder too. So very sorry! I hope they both filled you with all their love for Mother’s Day and beyond!

    She died suddenly last fall. Her family just had her Celebration of Life on Mother's Day weekend and it was awesome. She was our rock - I bet she's dancing Mom around in the afterlife!
