great questions and there is no easy path….Joy has moments of clarity which she can see through the stories. We asked for input from all her caregivers and doctors and all of them….all of them said the truth would be better in the long term and help the MC staff with her transition. In the last few weeks the truth has helped calm her as she can refer to the letter and know we didn't tell her a lie. Maintaining credibility has been advantageous on several recent issues which we believe would have been destroyed with a water leak story.

Every path is different….and honestly there is no right or wrong answer….pick your path and make sure EVERYONE keeps to the storyline…for Joy the truth was our path…..
