I pray a lot to God that my Mom is comfortable at her NH with all the CNA's and nurses. Today when I visited my Mom, she was being cleaned up by a CNA that I know for 8 years since my Mom has been in the same NH. My Mom was singing and laughing and so was the CNA. I stayed outside her room and listened. It was really an answered prayer and such a delight to visit my Mom today. I said hello, I and the CNA spoke a while but she said she had to work, I know today most NH are understaffed so I said okay I will leave. But before I left I had to give the CNA a hug and thanked her. I just prayed to God for thanks. I know she is in God's hands. God bless, I hope this cheers someone up, who reads it.

yes it does , amongst the negatives you hear it’s great to know there are caring people working in these facilities. I glad you got that peace of mind. PTL

I agree, my mom also has late stage dementia and I’m always well pleased when I hear the CNA speaking to mom and see a smile on her face. I pray each day that someone will cause her to grin, smile, or laugh just once or twice during each day. The jobs of NH employees are difficult and can become very routine. I’m just glad that they remember these residents were just like them at one time in their lives too. Prayers for all the workers and residents in all NH’s across the world. 🙏
