Dad's discussion with hospice SW
I had a discussion with my dad's hospice SW for the first time today. After speaking with her for an hour, dad all of a sudden told me I'm talking too long. The SW then said she will end the discussion. I think my dad thinks I'm disclosing too much to the SW and wants me to quit talking to her. Well, the SW respected my dad's wish and ended the meeting. But overall, it was a good meeting. She asked if I need to see her every month or as needed. I told her I'll see her when I need to. Not necessarily every month but it's good to know she will be available if needed. I can always leave her a message if I have a question. So far the hospice team has been really good. Hope hospice will continue to see my dad for however long as needed.
