DH using internet

My DH is in the middle stages of dementia. He worked in data processing and was very proficient in anything technical. He still spends time each day on his emails, etc. Lately he has been responding to spam emails and getting our passwords all screwed up. I am worried about him causing us to get hacked or becoming a victim of identity theft , etc. I don’t know what to do because he is still capable of ordering things from Amazon, etc. Should I take away his iPad, etc?

Yes, as difficult as it can be, you should take away access to the Internet, banking, anything that would allow him to expose himself and/or your finances to potential risk.

I would not tell him the real reason why. This will probably just cause anger. It’s broken or some other excuse.
