DH with ES Dementia

Hi, My DH refuses to see neurologist and has been diagnosed with Cognitive decline. We saw his primary who has been treating him and he has been taking mementine. He is very argumentative with me. I am the caregiver and I get no respect from him. I want to hire someone to come in once a week as a companion to him so I can get out of the house to run errands. I need a break. He gets up at all hours early morning to go outside to walk our dogs. I get up to stop him. During the day all he wants to do is watch tv & walk the dogs. I try to engage him in activities but get nowhere. I was hoping to find a support group online and have not found any.
