My husband wants to go home every night and doesn’t respond to distractions

My husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in Aug of 2025. As night falls he insists on going home and often starts to walk out but returns within 2-5 minutes. He’s very domineering and I don’t know what to do anymore. Please advise.
