    $12,000 wouldn’t be unusual in CA either for someone who needs to have everything done for them.

    She is very late stage 7 she is a fall risk .  She cannot get out of a chair by herself.

    Chammer - thanks for the offer. I'll let you know if I don't get anywhere with the people I've already contacted, including one of our U.S. Representatives. I can report that the Social Worker called today and offered to fill out the admissions paperwork for a couple of Oregon VA homes and another in Idaho, so he's finally getting his you-know-what in gear.
