Do you miss driving?

The doctor said I should not be driving so my wife took my keys away and I do miss driving. To help me feel better my wife will let me have my keys during the day ( It feels good to have them in my pocket even though I don't drive) After dinner I give the keys back to my wife and she does let me know where they are so if I wonder i will not be able to "steal the car". The only good thing about not driving is sitting in the passenger side seat is I get to see things I could not see when I was driving.

I enjoy leaving the driving to someone else, if he/she is a careful driver.

My wife does not like driving but she has accepted the fact that I cannot drive and I feel comfortable with her driving.

I do miss driving at times. I used to love driving on the back roads singing along with the radio. It relaxed me.

My DH was a truck driver and he looked forward to retiring and having me do most of the driving. Talk about changing plans.

I am getting close to turning over my keys to my beloved Honda Civic. Besides my cat and of course Kimmy, she is my love. But man I will miss our years of road-tripping.

I gav e yup my keys the day I was diagnosed last November I really do not miss driving that much (I drove as a mailman for a living). I feel sorry for my wife she does not really like driving but now it is all up to her.

I did at first but now I’m fine with not driving. I couldn’t even imagine driving now. People drive too fast and I would get lost
