Are elder care attorneys hard to locate? I don’t see any in MN, or is just an estate planner good enough?

Any lawyer can say they do estate planning. A CELA has actually passed a certification exam and demonstrated experience through a minimum number of practical hours. If you're not finding one through the nelf site, you can also try this one: https://www.naela.org/FindALawyer

I'm so glad. My CELA was able to do Zoom meetings when we didn't need to meet in person, so perhaps you can avoid the drive sometimes. All the best to you - you're doing a smart thing here to protect you and your family.
