Casava Trial

Beset by fraud allegations and government probes, Cassava pulls plug on all ongoing studies of simufilam.

My DH and I went through a horrible experience with this trial. They waited until the day he was supposed to transition into the open label live drug and then told us they would not continue. 18 months of hope and energy returned with the door hitting us in the ass.
I see the investors that were frauded have a lawsuit in place to get theirs back.
Nothing for the participants?

    There appears to be no end to the depravity of profit motives in health care in America. Seems like it is perfectly fine to string people along with “new drugs” or “promising drug trials”. Upon closer examination what they really developed recently was a drug that costs $25000 a year, has an abysmal “success” rate in slowing dementia progression and has serious side effects.

    I am sorry you were victimized by this same type of profit motive behavior.
