New Here - Caring for My Mother

Hey everyone, I just found this support group website. I'm currently 32-years-old and caring for my 52-year-old mother who has early Alzheimer's. Does anyone recommend or know of a place I can find a social worker to help me out here? I'm supporting her financially, and I need to find a safe place for her to live. Thank you in advance.

    Hi and welcome. I am sorry for your reason to be here, but pleased you found this place.

    My dad was diagnosed at a teaching hospital's Memory Center; they had social workers in the practice. We also found our Area Agency on Aging a great resource for information and was mom's Certified Elder Law Attorney. Some people turn to professional care managers.
