Unfortunately, there was no interest in the group so it no longer exists.

    My DH died January 21 and my mother died March 7. There are a few of us who have lost our loved one who still frequent this forum. If you look in the "Supporting Those who have Lost Someone" section of the Discussions, you will find many of our posts.

Commonly Used Abbreviations


DH = Dear Husband
DW= Dear Wife, Darling Wife
LO = Loved One
ES = Early Stage
EO = Early Onset
FTD = Frontotemporal Dementia
VD = Vascular Dementia
MC = Memory Care
AL = Assisted Living
POA = Power of Attorney
