I just wanted to wish all the ladies a Happy Mother's Day. It's really hard to appreciate an occasion like this when you have your hands full, but try to take time to pat yourself on the back, and find the time to do something for yourself that will lessen the load, if even for only a little while.

It's been a while since I've posted. Yesterday I was in a used furniture store, and they had a ton of books for sale. While browsing through them, I found a like new 2021 version of "the 36 hour day". which I've never read. When I went to pay for it, the attendant said "That will be fifty three cents"!! May be the best fifty three cents I ever spent. I know a man whose wife has dementia, and I will give it to him. But I did browse through it, and I can understand why it is so highly recommended. So thanks to everyone who recommended it. By doing so, you are helping a man you probably will never know.

I often think of everyone here, and I wonder how you are doing. And I want to let you know that there is life on the other side in stage 8. I hope you are all doing well.

    we got our 2 year old late January. A friend was diagnosed with dementia and had to rehome her dog. We have an older 80lb shepherd. Greta is 69lbs. She’s been a wonderful addition, especially for me. Yours is beautiful.

    @trottingalong Greta is a very nice looking fur baby too. Gotta love those GSDs. We started with Shepherds in the 1960s, and I don't think we ever had one less than 75 pounds when fully grown.

    @SDianeL I told him about the forum about 4 - 5 years ago. It's possible that he is a member already. I don't know.
