A Most Sincere Thank You

I don’t think I ever got so many Happy Birthday wishes before in my life, so thank you so very much. I ended up going to a MLB game since I love baseball. It was 74 degrees, sunny and I got to share it with 28000 other people. It went extra innings. We lost but it was a glorious day, until found out DS left my DH alone unbeknownst to me. I’m trying not to be angry cause he is fine but I could strangle him. He called me 7 times during the game but 4 was when he was unattended. He never said a word until I asked to speak to DS and he said he left a long time ago. I should have known cause he is just so irresponsible even tho he’s 40. I will have to be more strategic in the future. Thank You again for all the good wishes… you guys made my day!!!💕💜God Bless and Happy Mother's Day to all those out there💐

Wose, so happy for you to get to spend your B-day with “The Great American Pastime”. Hard not to have fun and take your mind off the troubles of life when you are at the old ballpark. I just had to reply to share your joy, but also to say I feel your pain as my 37 yo DS has been a real disappointment in not helping his Mom, my DW, on her journey. We helped move him home and cover his expenses a year ago thinking it would be nice for his Mom to see him more, and maybe he could give me occasional respite. Not helpful, and often made things worse. She is crazy about him, so maybe someday he’ll come around and be helpful, until then it’s just another reminder that The Cavalry Is Not Coming. Hang in there, and Happy Birthday!
