    Terribly sorry for your loss. Perfection is not an obtainable goal. All we can do is our best and love them. You did that. Be kind to yourself. You kept him safe and loved until the end.

    So sorry for your loss, which truly happened when this disease possessed your DH. Hope you will be able to find joy in life again. I admire your fighting spirit. When will lawmakers see what's going on in the dementia world, the suffering of the PWD, the horrors faced by caregivers who may even die before the patient simply out of exhaustion and heartbreak? People in Congress all have money. They have the means to care for their own family member(s). They will never feel the average citizen's pain.
