I haven’t posted in a while, I am struggling with the situation here. DH is now on day 47 of not eating, over a month with no heart meds, and he’s refused fluids of any kind since Monday. The Hospice nurses are astounded that he’s still as strong as he is. He’s non-responsive to everyone but me…if take his hand and talk to him, he will squeeze it. I think deep down he knows he is dying. He is afraid and is holding on as hard as he can. It’s so hard to watch, and I cannot seem to come up with any words to ease him or me. It’s clearly not in my hands any longer, I just hope his transition will be peaceful!

so sorry. When my Mom was on hospice my sister and I told her we would be OK if she was ready. She passed that night. Just keep talking to him and tell him you will be OK. Hugs. Praying for you both. 💜
