Dear Susan. Thank you so much for sharing this news with all of us. I'm so sorry for the passing of your mother. She was one of the first people I met when I started posting years ago.

Dear Susan and family,

Johanna was such a special person. I came back to this place after seven years and I was secretly hoping Johanna would be here, so it’s sad she died, but now I get to see her beautiful smile and laughing face, just as I imagined she would look like. Johanna encouraged me so much as I cared for my dad and mom at home. Never a hint of condescension, only a sort of joyous affirmation that caring for my parents in my home was worthwhile.

Thank you, Johanna, for what you gave: your time, your care, your support, your wickedly smart humor. You will be sorely missed on this site as you seem to have been everywhere, tossing your brilliance on many threads.
