DH is on hospice due to heart condition including Alzheimer’s. My son got him to go to the nursing home by inviting him to go to his favorite place, McDonald’s.

I had been sick for 3 weeks with what I thought was a recurring bout of diverticulitis. So I headed to the hospital where The CT scan showed a mass on my pancreas.
DH was diagnosed with MCI 15 years ago. This was my first time using respite. Now DH is in long term care permanently while I am in limbo awaiting tests and facing tough decisions. Our 61 anniversary is Friday.

Oh, friend, I feel for you. Truly. I have my own scares with scary health things and all I wanted to do was to stand my ground and care for my husband. It just doesn't appear to be in my cards. May your health concerns be washed away by the grace of God and with the hard work you'll be doing to repair the damage caused by life and all of the stress you've endured. God bless you!
