So we started my Aunt on Aricept and we are waiting for approval from insurance company to start Kisunla Infusions. She had a very bad day today and Im not sure if it is due to overload from family being in this past week or because we started the medication. She is having hallucinations and paranoia. Has anyone else experienced this with Aricept? I have been reading up on it and it says it can happen, but I just started giving her the medication, I feel like it way to soon to have that type of reaction!!! Any feedback/experiences would be appreciated.

If the behavior is new I would tell the doctor immediately. Sometimes medications can cause side effects. They may need to try another drug or lower the dose initially. My husband could not tolerate Mirtazapine.
