    With my DH every thing is my fault. If he got the time wrong, I told him wrong. Some mornings I think"do i really have to get up and do this again" but I do ,we all do. Lol he can hurt his finger and it's my fault and I won't near him.

    welcome. If you post a new topic you will get more replies. If your husband is aggressive is he on medication? If not ask his doctor for something for anxiety and aggression. If you feel unsafe, go to a safe room and call 911 and have him taken to the hospital and admitted into a Geri Psyche unit to be put on medication. You could be in danger. He has no idea what he is doing. Please get help. Read the book “The 36 Hour Day” which helped me after my husband’s diagnosis.

    I felt this way too until I realized I hate his actions and how he responds to things now and how he can no longer figure things out. I felt better knowing I don't hate him....just his actions

    I get the frustration with looking for lost things. I gradually got pretty good at guessing where DW had put something. When she said she can't find it (and someone probably stole it), I would say let's see whether we can find it.

Commonly Used Abbreviations

DH = Dear Husband
DW= Dear Wife, Darling Wife
LO = Loved One
ES = Early Stage
EO = Early Onset
FTD = Frontotemporal Dementia
VD = Vascular Dementia
MC = Memory Care
AL = Assisted Living
POA = Power of Attorney
