    Hi there ! I’m new to this group . My Dad has been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia and he just had bloodwork and a spinal tap done yesterday. I’m not sure at what stage he is at yet. I would definitely be interested in a zoom meeting! Any day after 4pm . I live in st . Louis and I’d love to connect with others!

    I am new to the group, and looking to join a zoom meeting. Have an aging parent who is now 96 that I shared caregiving between siblings for a few years. These days, my siblings and I go through the blame game of who is not helping and taking turns. My Mom's last request was to not be put in home to die alone having knowledge of what happened to her own brother and sisters that were abandon by their children in a nursing home.

    The Alzheimer's Association has virtual (zoom) support group meetings with a trained facilitator. To sign up call the Helpline 1800 272 3900.
