Home Care Agency Recommendations in San Antonio, TX

We are moving to San Antonio, TX 78218 and am asking for any personal recommendations for in-home care agencies in the area. If anyone has used a company in that area for their loved one, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

    You may not get any responses to an inquiry this specific, since people who post here come from all over the U.S. as well as other countries.

    A couple of thoughts: the Area Agency on Aging that's local to your new area will be able to provide you with information about available options in that area. You can see the Texas list here:

    Another option you have is the Alzheimer's Association's 24/7 free helpline:

    Although I haven't lived in Texas, I did hire in-home care a few years ago via Home Instead, which is one of the national agencies. They were fine.
