What do the two icons in the upper right and the bottom corner of posts mean?

    Hi and welcome.

    The icons on the top right are:
    Bookmark (the banner) which creates a quick link (on the right side of the screen on a laptop/bottom of scroll on phone) to make it easier to revisit in the future. I do this for posts that speak to me or have useful links.

    Mute which takes the thread off your feed. You could do this if there was a post you didn't wish to see again for some reason.

    The bottom icons are:
    Eye is the number of times a post has been opened
    Clock is when the last post of the thread was made. Actual time for today and date for older threads.
    The thumbs up is the number of folks who liked, cared or found the post insightful.
    The dialog bubble is the number of replies in the thread
    The flag (rare) means the post has been reported because a reader felt it might be in violation of the rules of the site.

    And hit 'reply' at the bottom to respond to a post.
