My sad Christmas story. I’ve been trying to catch Alvin for 2 weeks now. Alvin the chipmunk has been stuck in my walls and I’m afraid of what he might be eating so I set a trap. I opened my silverware drawer a couple days ago and Alvin scared the sh•• out of me. I thought maybe I was seeing things cause of stress but then today I found chewed up cork bits. After a dreadful Christmas I just want to croke. DH hit me in the jaw today and now poor Alvin iis dead and I feel guilty. Honestly, I don’t know who I want to leave more…..Alvin or DH.🤣. I sure hope Alvin didn’t have babies 😳 It was pretty fat💜

That is a very sad Christmas story. Poor Alvin and poor you. I don’t fancy the hit in the jaw. Feeling guilty is a rotten emotional response to a rotten situation that is out of your control. I’m with you can run away sometimes in my head but could never leave my DH. We are all ears. Take care.

Sounds like you need to hire an expert who deals with unwanted critters. You need to have them seal up your house.
As for getting hit in the jaw by your LO, I suggest you speak to your husbands doctor regarding his anger issues. If that is why he hit you in the jaw. Call the Alzheimer’s help line to speak to one of their counselors, or the department of aging, some areas have a crisis team that you can call and will de escalate the situation. Please get some help for yourself because you matter.

Im so sorry for both your situations. We had squirrels in the attic which chewed alarm wirs and who knows what else. We had to hire a trapper to come set traps to live trap them. We are not allowed to kill them here. Multiple trappings of mama squirrel and several babies... and $$$ later, it is quiet in our attic. Call a professional.
