Wondering What’s in Store For 2036

Thinking about all my friends getting ready to party and bring in the New Year while I sit here sipping a single malt wondering what’s in store for me in 2026. Not a very nice thought considering my LO just “graduated “ to what I think is Stage 6.

Happy New Year… Really ??
Maybe someone can relate to my rant … it seems that’s all I do. Sorry.

I can relate. Just cooked a light appetizer type dinner and now (on my own) enjoying a glass of champagne. We live in a very rural area, none of my friends will be partying into the new year, heck we’re “old”. I think my husband is bridging the gap between 4 and 5.

Happy New Year? No, but my goal is to try to focus on making it a healthier new year for myself. I deserve it.

My thoughts are with you, and our fellow virtual friends and community members. 💜

I hope everyone can have a better new year but I don't see how that can be for now. My wife is in MC but I am still so mentally tired. It has been so long since we have had a close relationship the two becomes one that I thought we had.

We are enduring our sufferings each in our own way. I'm working on letting go of fear and control. Let come what may. Hope is what keeps us going, I suppose. Here's to renewed hope in the coming year for all.

I hear all of you! I look at the passage of time differently now. One challenging day rolls into the next without hope of improvement. The only hope I have is that I can cope with whatever comes. Que sera sera….
