Entering fast stage 7

I don't know if it's harder on me or my wife. She still knows who I'm but doesn't know what day of the week it is. Watching stage 7 with (VD) is very hard on me to have to watch her going thru losing control of her bodily functions. One day see is her old self and the next day something else. I see her every day for an hour or so. She has forgotten to swallow after she has taken her meds. The hospice nurse today suggested she take the pills with ice cream. Today that worked great as she has always loved ice cream. If there are any other ways of coping with stage 7 I would really appreciate hearing from you.

So sorry you are at this point. I would just keep talking to her and telling her you love her. Hospice is wonderful. They can answer all your questions.
