My husband is always cold as well. He had a doctor appointment at the VA last week and wore 3 shirts, a heavy fleece lined shirt-jacket and one of those hunting type hats with the ear flaps pulled down. It was 75 degrees outside.
Like you, I recognize it’s his comfort zone and adjust. Me? I’m always warm.
Oh, and in the critter count, I have 3 horses, 1 German Shepherd, 3 indoor and 2 outdoor cats, and 2 emu. No kids. It sounds like you have your hands full!

My husband is also always cold. Sometimes I have to step outside to cool myself and the dogs down. I have one horse and two German shepherds. Kids are grown and gone.

My DH is always cold as well. When we were visiting in Vermont a few years ago, a "local" was sitting outside and happy as could be….he told us he was wearing insulated overalls that had some sort of built-in heating device….he was an outside worker…..I don't know any more than that, but you might investigate looking online.

@M5M thats a great idea! He has heavy lined pants, but something heated could help keep him comfortable.
