I have early onset Alzheimer’s, done a year of lequimbi also on maintenance injections at home now every week. My plaque is under control. My wife is my caregiver, I have one son that is very helpful but my other son thinks I’m fine .

I have a question about maintenance injections: do you do them yourself or does a nurse do them?

I have not had the injections. My understanding is you give them to yourself. Similar to those of us that have diabetes type 2. Simple no pain. Some people have complained about being comfortable doing them at home, also underlining reason is they have to pay a copay for the shots if done at home.
The question I have is while in the maintenance phase when are they doing a PET scan to check the amyloid build up?
