A article I found

I am feeling low today. I am trying to make sense of my life instead of doing the work they pay me to do. So I was Internet surfing and came across this well written article on a person who lost his wife to the insidious disease of Alzheimer's.

As he tries to say -.. "an attempt to capture grief in to words."

On a personal note---I so hate this disease as it hurt me and robbed me, but so may other people also. As this forum provides a place to vent - I vent.

My wife was for me "meaning", I cared for her, fed her, clothed her, loved her and cried as each step descended - I  think too much it seems, but that is all I have of her is our time time together, 8 years as a caregiver and before when the disease had not touched her beautiful laugh. I am just trying to make sense of my life, but so far it is alluding me.

This is the place to vent - we hear you. We understand and share what you're feeling. Grief is sometimes overwhelming and so painful. Grief is not a moment. It's uncomfortable and an ever-changing emotion. It marks us and makes us. We cannot live without love, even though there's the chance it will break your heart. Be kind to yourself. Honor your memories.
