Wow.  I felt like I was watching my own life.  Exactly how I help my wife get out of bed, and negotiate the stairs.

A very loving caregiver.  Always wonderful to see.  And always behind it, a tragic loss.

How sad and yet how beautiful.  As Jeff said, "I am watching my own life."  Just swap the caregiver and omit the stairs, and there you have it.  It hurts to be reminded of how things used to be, but no regrets here.  Thank you for sharing.
