Conservator/Guardian Court Paperwork help!

Does anyone here have experience with filing conservatorship financial and care reporting? This is my first year doing it (last year we had an attorney who did 99% of it and we just signed and she sent it into court for us: I’m on my own this year). I feel overwhelmed with this whole process. Anyone know of resources/websites that are helpful? For those of you have done this countless times, is it really that big of a deal or is it easy?

Probate & Family Court forms may be available on your state's website. You can also "Google" "petitioner for conservatorship".

Here is what I found in initial search:

    1. finance.zacks.com/petition-conservatorship

    2. AARP.org (how to get a guardianship and/or conservatorship)

    3. Your state's website, general laws should contain the elements needed to be recognized by courts, etc.

    4. ALZ.org may have articles

    5. Formswift.com

    6. Real Estate, Probate and Family paralegals may be able to draw up a form

    7. Nolo.com (Conservatorships and Durable Power of Attorney)

My first step would be to check the state's website/laws/courts for guidance and/or forms. Then as stated in another post, review form created by attorney and mirror the new form based on information learned. Look for a permanent solution not temporary guardianship. If your LO can designate you as POA/guardian or conservator you may not need to go through courts, a paralegal can help draft this form.

    Hope this helps!
