Referred to hospice

I took my husband to our doctor on Tuesday. He was wonderful. He took his time with us asking we questions to see where he was in this horrible journey. He also observed him for a while. He feels that he is in late stage Lewy Body Dementia with signs of Parkinson’s. After his evaluation he said he wanted to do a referral for hospice services for him. I am praying it all goes well because I could do use the support!!!  As an added note I found someone to clean my house every couple of weeks and my daughters are going to rotate taking care of their dad so I can get out with friends for lunch or dinner. If this hospice referral all pans out, I will feel so blessed!!!!  Just to have extra help and support will be such a huge burden taken off of my shoulders. So extra prayers for everything to work out will be so appreciated!!!?

My DW was on hospice for just over a year before passing and the help was great and it added to her comfort as well.
