me: We know our Lord’s voice so we sense when Satan is lying to us. What do we do??? We need to immediately stop and pray for God's help. The power in us is greater than any evil. We have Holy Spirit, God’s power, strength and wisdom. When we call on the Lord, Satan flees.

Before I moved up here to the Pacific Northwest ( God's country, ) I lived in my childhood home with my parents and my younger brother. We had a dog who was generally considered dumb, but she did have this interesting quirk. If she could get out of the yard, and make it around the big hedge at the top of our property, she thought she was home free.

What we would do sometimes, was to hide out of sight and call to her. She would stop and turn around, because of course she knew we were calling her, but if she couldn't see anybody, then she would keep on going. If she could see us calling, then she would turn around and come back.

I think sometimes that when we get " out of our yard, " and God calls us, we want to look around and decide if He sees us or not. Old satan would have us believe that God somehow isn't looking when He calls, but it just ain't so.

Just like our dog , who thought she was fooling us, even though we could see her, God sees us, and of course, that is why He calls to us when we stray.
