DH is in later stage. I went to funeral home and contacted the cemetery yesterday. DH is 65, diagnosed at age 55. Although he had the evidence couple of years before actual diagnosis. Children grown, one child is in another state and the other child is in Berlin Germany. I do not know what life is going to look like at the end of this. I took out a blank piece of cardboard to indicate what life will look like. I put words Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Me, Family, Friends, Neighbors, Church, and Dog. Then on the outside I put things, like home, SUV, vacation. I need to figure out how to reinstate those non living things into my life again. DH is at home, 99% of the time. Right now I am getting a 4 day respite. Which is why my brain is blank.

I'm so sorry that you and your husband are going through this. Hang in there and take care of yourself.0

It was not easy for me to reinstate. It came slowly. Some things came back but there were a lot of new as well. Some how the new was easier.0
