"Meanwhile, Crystal Cruises became the first major cruise line to announce that they would require all crew and guests to be vaccinated when sailings resume, on both their ocean-going sailings and their river cruises. Crystal joins American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC), Victory Cruise Lines and UK-based Saga Cruises in setting this requirement, while AQSC, Celebrity, Crystal, Norwegian, Oceania, Regent, Royal Caribbean, Silversea and Victory will require their crews to be vaccinated.

Finally, the buzz continues around the development of a "vaccine passport" that could allow holders to travel domestically or internationally earlier than would otherwise be possible, until the threat from Covid-19 has substantially subsided.

Iceland has announced that it will issue digital "vaccination certificates" to its citizens and recognize vaccine passports from incoming travelers. Denmark said it is developing a vaccine passport for its citizens, geared toward travel, that will be available by the end of February. No word yet on exactly when these countries will allow vaccinated international travelers to visit but Romania and the Seychelles are already welcoming vaccinated travelers. The Seychelles no longer requires Covid-19 tests or quarantine upon arrival for visitors who can show proof of vaccination and Romania never required a Covid-19 test and has lifted its quarantine requirement for vaccinated travelers.

It is not yet known whether the U.S., Canada, the U.K. or other countries will waive testing or quarantine requirements for inbound travelers who can show proof of vaccination but I will keep you posted in this newsletter." from Vacations to Go newsletter
