So tired(1)

My dad died in 2015 of Alz. My husband died in 2018 of FTD. And now my mom is in the grip of dementia.

I am emotionally exhausted. Not so much from the caregiving, but from watching people I love go through this torment. Sometimes it is so sad and overwhelming that I just want her to die.

Wondering where God’s mercy is.

I am so sorry for all you are going through. I don't have any great words of wisdom to share, but I wanted to reach out with a virtual hug of support. Hopefully you have a support system to lean on during the challenging time. Your online community is here for you too!

    Thanks for the hug.

We are all going through tough times. Some days we just sink below the water line.

    Feeling better today.

3rd time around:  it is said ( by whom, I truly wonder) what does not kill you , makes you stronger. You already have the strength, and I understand why you would question a merciful god.
