Blubbering

My husband has Lewy Body dementia. He gets teary eyed, blubbery, at anything. At a song on radio, at a collision in a Nascar race on tv, at someone saying hw good their cake was . Anything! Is anyone else experiencing this with their loved one? It can be embarrassing when out in public.

This could be pseudobulbar affect.  It causes uncontrollable emotions, such as laughter or crying.

If it is pseudobulbar affect, medication Nuedexta is available for treatment.

Is your husband under the care of a neurologist?

Also, per your other post, if he continues to choke he will need a swallowing evaluation.
