This suggestion comes from JJAz on the Spousal Forum, it is for a bedside commode that has a "hydraulic" lift:

Carex Lift-assist commode; it can accommodate up to 300 pounds, is height adjustable, can be used as a stand alone or placed over a toilet.  Here is a glimpse of it:

There are other brands of this type of commode out there too.

One suggestion from a Member that I have never had need to use or try, so it may or may not be helpful.  The Member's LO used a bedside commode for all elimination. She said when the pail was clean and dry, she sprayed the inside of it with cooking spray like PAM; and it made it much easier to clean.  As said, I have not tried it but thought I might pass that on.

I have not tried shaving cream for dried on poop, but have had good luck squirting Cetaphil - or generic version of it - on a wipe.

Good bed. My neighbor then sleeps well and behaves more calmly. A few weeks ago, I ordered a good blanket for myself and a neighbor. I waited a long time for delivery, but luckily I found a phone number on mypillow customer service ( https://mypillow.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html ). As it turned out, I entered the wrong address haha. I sleep much better now and so does my neighbor

A closed system urinal for men (urinal drains directly into a collection bag). Very helpful to avoid spills and dad only had to stand at night and not walk to the bathroom. Just remember to close the clamp at the bottom after emptying!!!!

D-Mannos daily for controlling UTI’s. It is an inexpensive supplement that has no side effects.

Her doc wholeheartedly recommends it. You will have to check with your LO doctor.

    Since using not one UTI.

My neighbor is a plumber and he has to clean out MANY pipes of so-called flushable wipes. It can end up being very expensive!
